The calf raise is one of the best exercises for strengthening your calf muscle which is important for activities such as walking and running, and it even helps with improving your balance.
To perform the calf raise, ensure you have a chair or something to hold onto. From here raise up onto your toes as high as you can. Slowly lower back down to the floor and repeat. Ensure that you take your ankle through the full range of motion.
