Dynamic Balance Exercise

This is a great exercise to improve your balance in a more dynamic way. This is a good one to practise for the times you may happen to have your grandkid run in front of you, giving you the potential to lose your footing a little bit.

To perform this exercise, slowly shift your weight forward until you feel you have to move your feet before stepping forward to regain your balance. Continue shifting forward and then moving your foot forward to catch yourself with your feet and not your hands. Make sure that you're in a nice safe space to do this exercise so that you've got plenty of things to hold on to should you need them.
