The chest press is one of the best exercises for improving the strength in your chest, shoulders, and triceps. Building strength in your upper body and shoulder muscles is essential to improve many painful shoulder conditions.
To complete the chest press, lie down on the floor with your knees bent at 45 degrees, grab a set of dumbbells with your elbows at a right angle. Press up until your arms are locked and slowly lower. Ensure that throughout this movement you complete the whole range of motion.
