Seated Single Leg Calf Raise

The seated single calf raise is a great exercise to work on your posterior leg muscles (soleus and tibialis) and great if you're experiencing symptoms of shin splints.

To perform this exercise, place your foot on a step with a weight on top. Today we're using a weight plate but you can load it up with anything you've got at home. Slowly raise your foot up and lower all the way down. Ensure throughout this movement that your foot is going through the whole range of motion.
